RAYS Offroad 07X
The first model of the new RAYS
The 7 point crossed mesh composed by straight lines inherit the design of “A●LAP-J ” which is exclusive model for Jimny, while designed for large vehicles like the Land Cruiser Prado and Hiace.
Carefully selected is its contents of rim width, rim depth, and layout bringing forth its strength and lightweight. This model prepares different rim depths and faces for each rim width and offset accordingly. In addition, the 18inch forged wheel application for the Jimny/Jimny Sierra is first of its kind in the whole industry.
Generally, lightweight brings more advantages and merit for the 4WD’s and Hiace which often uses off road tires and van tires instead of passenger cars.
The new “07X” starts as a model focusing on “lightweight” from the forging method.

JWL Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for passenger vehicles (excluding vehicles with riding capacity of 11 people or greater, motorcycles, and motorcycles with a sidecar - * a scope for those exceptional cases are to be separately set). As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL seal mark.
JWL-T Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL TRUCK & BUS)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for trucks and busses. As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL-T seal mark (the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism judges whether the subjected products meet the provisions in Article 9 of “Safety Standard for Road Transportation Vehicles” by confirming that they have these certification seal mark).
JWL-T Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL TRUCK & BUS)
VIA Quality Inspection Approval Mark (VEHICLE INSPECTION ASSOCIATION)
Testing is consigned from Japan Vehicle Inspection Association to Japan Light Alloy Automotive Wheel Testing Council (JWTC Incorporation Foundation) to see the subjected products meet the national standard of JWL or JWL-T. As the national engineering standard requests self-certification, products in the aftermarket are tested at a third party testing public institution. Products whose status of conformity to the standard is confirmed are registered at JWTC and have the VIA certification seal mark.
