The “37” in the name comes from the initials of Touring Evolution, and the remarkable weight of around 3.7kg, unheard of for a 15-inch wheel at the time.
As the name suggests, TE37 has, from the start, evolved as an “ever-evolving lightweight forged wheel.”
The 30th Anniversary model carries on that enduring philosophy, while applying the latest manufacturing and analysis technologies.
Based on TE37 SAGA S-plus, TE37 SONIC, and TE37ultra LARGE P.C.D., it is crafted as an homage to the original TE37.

JWL Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for passenger vehicles (excluding vehicles with riding capacity of 11 people or greater, motorcycles, and motorcycles with a sidecar - * a scope for those exceptional cases are to be separately set). As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL seal mark.
JWL-T Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL TRUCK & BUS)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for trucks and busses. As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL-T seal mark (the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism judges whether the subjected products meet the provisions in Article 9 of “Safety Standard for Road Transportation Vehicles” by confirming that they have these certification seal mark).
JWL-T Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL TRUCK & BUS)
VIA Quality Inspection Approval Mark (VEHICLE INSPECTION ASSOCIATION)
Testing is consigned from Japan Vehicle Inspection Association to Japan Light Alloy Automotive Wheel Testing Council (JWTC Incorporation Foundation) to see the subjected products meet the national standard of JWL or JWL-T. As the national engineering standard requests self-certification, products in the aftermarket are tested at a third party testing public institution. Products whose status of conformity to the standard is confirmed are registered at JWTC and have the VIA certification seal mark.
