In 1996 RAYS Co Ltd launched a six spoke wheel design that would make an impact in the aftermarket world very few products could replicate, a 3.7kg 15x6 forged aluminium wheel named TE37, from Touring Evolution and the 3.7kg weight.
With the size line up expanding in 1997 to include 16" options, and a lightweight magnesium offering the following year, TE37 MAG. From the beginning RAYS was not content to just stop at a 15" 6 spoke wheel.
Expanding into offroad options with the TE37 Gravel in 1999 and the TE37 Large P.C.D. in 2001.
In 2007 the sizing expanded into 20" options and in 2010 the iconic TE37SL launched, a fan favourite for the spoke design, concave and fitment options. The TE37SL was offered in a range of sized until the 18" spec was discontinued in 2021, 17" in 2022 and 15" & 19" sales stopped in 2025. Lasting more than a decade, it's easy to see why the SL became an iconic part of the aftermarket scene.
2010 Also saw the start of the TE37V, an aggressive forged wheel designed for older vehicles that required much lower offsets and PCD options that newer wheels didn't cater for.
2014 saw the debut of the TE37 Ultra, a high rigidity wheel model for large diameter vehicles, and a more significant push into the European car market.
2015 and 2016 saw the release of the TE37V SL, a lightweight TE37V option and the TE37 Sonic for smaller compact cars respectively.
In 2017 a new forging mold was introduced, bringing to life the TE37 SAGA, designed as a next generation TE37, being manufactured to specs that brought increased strength, rigidity and higher load ratings for modern vehicles. Alongside the TE37 SAGA, RAYS released their first Super Duralumin wheel, the TE037, offering a premium product for the market and signifying the desire to maintain a strong exploration into newer material use and wheel design.
In 2018 the TE037 6061 came out, a forged aluminium version of the duralumin TE037.
In 2021 the TE37 SAGA S-Plus launched, taking the SAGA mold and improving on strength, alongside this they launched the TE37 SAGA SL, continuing the Super Lap use to showcase a lightweight, modern TE37 while maintaining the updated strength, rigidity and load rating requirements.
2025 brought about the first ever 23" TE37, TE37GC, featuring a significant increase in the use of RAYS' own A.S.T. machining technology to create new brushed and burnt finish styles.
Which brings us to 2026, an exciting time as the TE37 hits 30 years on the market and a celebratory range of models carrying the 30th Anniversary engraving, with the TE37 SAGA S-Plus, TE37 Sonic, TE37 Ultra Large P.C.D. all getting special anniversary edition models. While RAYS Co Ltd is yet to release sizing information, we're keeping a close eye on it and can't wait to debut this milestone model this year.
