スーパーラップモデルのセンターキャップに関して多くの質問を受けます。 オリジナル TE37 (TE37SL) と CE28N (CE28SL) のスーパーラップ モデルは、不要な材料を削り取ることで、オリジナル ホイールに比べて軽量化を実現しています。 TE37SLは高剛性・高強度の機能はそのままに、各部を極限まで削ぎ落とし、TE37に対し18×10.5Jで約400gの軽量化を実現。 CE28SLはRAYSの最新解析技術によって最適化されました。 すでに軽量なCE28Nから、さらなる軽量化が図られました。ホイール解析を何度も繰り返し、強度に直接関係のない質量を削減しました。さらに、必要に応じてわずかに厚みを加えることで剛性を高めました。 軽量化のためセンターキャップ取り付け部を廃止し、センターサークルにオーバーハングデザインを採用することで剛性を犠牲にすることなく軽量化を実現しました。
