新しいアップデート「S-PLUS」は、TE37 の運命によって動かされています。
1996年にデビューしたボルクレーシングTE37は、数々のアップデートでリクエストに応えてきました。 TE37は、量産車でのスポーツ走行やハードカスタム、チューニングの宿命を踏まえ、2016年にデザインを一新し、金型も新規作成し、現行の「TE37SAGA」へと進化しました。元々TE37は、日本の「保安基準」をクリアしていました。 「JWL」「VIA」を取得し、RAYS独自の安全基準「JWL+R Spec-2」を取得。もちろん現行TE37モデル「TE37SAGA」はそれらの基準を圧倒的にクリアしています。 TE37SAGAのデビューから5年のインターバルを経て、色々なことが変わりました。例えば、Cセグメント車の車両重量は総重量で増加しています。飛躍的な馬力の向上、全輪駆動による重量配分とトラクションの変化、そしてそれらを受け入れるハイグリップタイヤの進化。これらは注目に値するものであり、ボルクレーシングは車両の進化においてこれらの要素も見逃せないと判断した。レイズは、各部や細部を見直し、より安全マージンを確保したマイナーアップデートモデル「SAGA S-PLUS」を2021年1月より発売する。ただし、正面デザインに変更はなく、マイナーチェンジはスポーク形状裏側に反映される。サイズに応じて重量が約100～120g増加します。より高い安全・安心基準を達成するためのマイナーアップデートで、剛性の向上と強度の向上を実現しました。

JWL Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for passenger vehicles (excluding vehicles with riding capacity of 11 people or greater, motorcycles, and motorcycles with a sidecar - * a scope for those exceptional cases are to be separately set). As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL seal mark.
JWL-T Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL TRUCK & BUS)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for trucks and busses. As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL-T seal mark (the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism judges whether the subjected products meet the provisions in Article 9 of “Safety Standard for Road Transportation Vehicles” by confirming that they have these certification seal mark).

VIA Quality Inspection Approval Mark (VEHICLE INSPECTION ASSOCIATION)
Testing is consigned from Japan Vehicle Inspection Association to Japan Light Alloy Automotive Wheel Testing Council (JWTC Incorporation Foundation) to see the subjected products meet the national standard of JWL or JWL-T. As the national engineering standard requests self-certification, products in the aftermarket are tested at a third party testing public institution. Products whose status of conformity to the standard is confirmed are registered at JWTC and have the VIA certification seal mark.
