SARD DAMPER (SARD × AISIN)
SARD DAMPER is installed on the front and rear parts of the cabin, where large body twists occur, to suppress unpleasant vibrations and roll overshoot. It has both improved steering response and high-quality ride comfort.
The components incorporate dampers with damping mechanisms to improve steering operability and reduce microscopic vibrations that can be felt by humans. The friction damper, which combines Aisin's unique mechanical structure of countersunk spring + friction plate, is effective even when the telescopic stroke speed is low, so it improves steering response and better roll angle than oil-type dampers.
Vehicle Notes:
*1 GR86/86/BRZ: It may not be possible to install it on vehicles equipped with external airboxes, superchargers, etc.
*2 Landcruiser 300 Series: Grade "GR Sport" is not compatible
*3 Silvia: Only suitable for cars with rear floor stays
*4 MR-S: Not suitable for vehicles equipped with front luggage boxes
*5 GR Corolla: Compatible with vehicles equipped with cool air ducts unconfirmed (25.11~ model)
