The performance of compact segment cars improved dramatically due to the technical innovations of each car manufacturers. Tire grips are increased, and “mechanical grips” are also improved by higher performance suspension systems. These factors increase the compact segment car’s bottom speed, and the input value to the wheel became similar to racing cars from one generation ago. The TE37 15inch size has been on the racing field since it released in 1996. In order to surpass the performance of the TE37, the new TE37 was necessary. Therefore, everything is redesigned. [TE37 SONIC] was made as the new TE37 to match the high performance of compact cars. The strength and rigidity are enforced by creating the spokes wider than before and moving the mounting surface of the spoke end to the rim.

JWL Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for passenger vehicles (excluding vehicles with riding capacity of 11 people or greater, motorcycles, and motorcycles with a sidecar - * a scope for those exceptional cases are to be separately set). As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL seal mark.
JWL-T Standard Conformity Mark (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL TRUCK & BUS)
This standard is applicable to light alloy disc wheels for trucks and busses. As per this standard, tests are conducted on manufacturers own responsibilities and products that have passed the tests are given a JWL-T seal mark (the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism judges whether the subjected products meet the provisions in Article 9 of “Safety Standard for Road Transportation Vehicles” by confirming that they have these certification seal mark).

VIA Quality Inspection Approval Mark (VEHICLE INSPECTION ASSOCIATION)
Testing is consigned from Japan Vehicle Inspection Association to Japan Light Alloy Automotive Wheel Testing Council (JWTC Incorporation Foundation) to see the subjected products meet the national standard of JWL or JWL-T. As the national engineering standard requests self-certification, products in the aftermarket are tested at a third party testing public institution. Products whose status of conformity to the standard is confirmed are registered at JWTC and have the VIA certification seal mark.
